Well, let's seee.. I haven't written/added an entry in like wad? 2 plus months? Haha.. Lazy, lazy me.. But hu cares and I'm back now, aren't I? =P Haha.. So let me attempt to at least summarise my last week? This time round, it was our 2nd attachment and i was posted to NUH.. Just wanna say::
THANK YOU hospital attachment!! =D I used to think being at optometrist in a hospital was rather cool and all.. Well, i've realised otherwise in terms of the job scope there.. Wad we do is basically refraction, refraction AND (yes u guessed it!) refraction.. Plain boring, although yea u do get to see a greater variety of cases there(some which really are interesting).. but e pple ure finding e power for are either real old or young making it so challenging.. Therefore i noe wad i'm sticking to after i graduate! Hahaz.. No more Mon-Fri, 9-5 pm work week thoughh.. =( Tat's e only setbackk..
But overall it was an enriching experience, esp going into e operating theater and observing e doctors doing surgery, watching them handle difficult cases, and e many eye conditions/diseases that will rarely be seen by us in SPOC or in e optical shops.. =)

e HIGHLIGHT of this whole week was our long-awaited netball gathering.. =D Hehe.. Met up wif my dearies and we first headed to settlers to play games while snacking.. We played taboo & some cranium board game which had us doing crazy actions, brain teasers, drawing, moulding play-doh and spelling diff words.. Haha.. It was super crazy, but fun!
Thereafter, we headed to MOS for dinner and reminisced our sec sch days n netball.. Talked about everything anf everyone, filling the whole of MOS wif our shouts of laughter for like 2 hours, oblivious to e stares we were getting from e other patrons.. It was e best part of e day i must say.. Unable to part company, e rest of us went to Indo-chine at wisma and hung out listening to the live band there.. E annoying singer kept dedicating the next song to 'the noisiest group there' which was us lah.. and hinting for us to keep quiet! So sarcastic.. But we din allow tat to spoil our mood.. Heh heh. =]
And yup.. Can't wait for our next one, we already made plans.. Haha.. Love them loads! =D
