Our attachment has finally ended! Well, there's no better way to celebrate than go shopping right? =P Haha.. So tat's wad we girls did.. Walked all over Orchard, going in and out of e various stores tat caught our attention. Unconsciously unleashing e raving shopaholic in me-when i didn't really wanna spend! But i don't regret lah.. Esp buying my skirt and e glittery shoes I've been eyeing for quite some time.. =) Bought a pair of shoes for clinic and a shiny belt as well- The Great Singapore Sale is coming though.. Hope e next Pepsi promo and j&j roadshows keep my bank well stocked for e upcoming event.. =P Hahaz.. Okay i admit tat i'm a rather impulsive buyer but definitely not a spendtrift! Hanging out wif e girls was fun though!! Haven't seen most of them for like 6 weeks? So we caught up quite alot today and Yanah kept them amused wif our Batam stories and her super lame jokes!! Whaha..
Catching up wif pple seems to be this week's trend i guess.. There was a netball gathering on wed at Marche.. Even our sec school netball coach, Ms Wee came!! =) Seniors i hadn't seen in like years were there too.. But we were all quite divided chatting among our own group of friends.. Still, it was great seeing them all!! Mellow[cause it's during evenings?] mondays haf been suggested by our coach and hopefully we can play netball on a weekly basis! How i miss e game!! I was super into netball in sec sch.. We all trained so hard, even in the scorching sun tat some pple even mistook us for Indians.. Haha. Really looking forward to playing netball soon!! =)

I noe it's been weeks since i last updated!! Been kinda busy and got caught up with attachment and work i guess.. But i'm BACK! : ) Haha..
And oh, bout e Batam trip.. It was really fun & enlightening.. simply put -> WoNDeRfUL!! I would'nt haf missed it for e world and i'm soo so super glad i made e right choice to go on the overseas ITP! e resort was amazing.. beyond wad i expected.. and resort food there was actually yummy! I'll never forget e 3rd night's dinner where we walked along a path which was in TOTAL darkness to get to e nearby resort's restaurant.. Was kinda creepy and all but when we saw wad was prepared for us.. oh man.. Picture this- Six beautifully set small round tables with long white tablecloth placed on this wooden platform just above the shore.. there's this soothing music playing nearby and when seated at the table, u get a full view of the many yachts anchored just a few metres away and can't help but admire e bright lights, reflected off from the water's surface.. Even when u close ur eyes, e gentle sea breeze and constant rythm of e small waves reach ur senses and give u a calming effect. Topping it all off was the awesome star-littered sky.. e kind where u'll take forever to count e number of stars in it.. I'm not exaggerating.. It was like some honeymoon setting or smth! Haha. But kinda inappropriate cause u were like wif ur lectures and all! But hey, i'm not complaining! It was awesome & I'd like to go there again, but e next time, it'll be wif my special someone.. =)
Omgosh i sound so absorbed in e atmosphere and accommodation in Batam that i'm forgetting the most important area of it all.. The Batam kids!! =) Hehe.. they're like so open and friendly.. Even with their humble backgrounds, life seems so carefree and they're always happy and cheerful.. Even when i was small i dun remember being that happy.. Maybe cause we were made to study so much in sch.. Haha.. It was interesting meeting all e different kids from diff age groups, some were really shy and din get wad u were saying cause maybe we talked funnily in Bahasa Indonesia. (Ya we were taught on how to use e language before e trip) But it went rather smoothly.. Damn tiring after e long day though!! So we relaxed by going swimming..walking along e beach..unwinding b4 dinner.. we even played paintball on e last evening and i bloodied my nose cause got shot in e face! Haha. Okay it's not funny.. And i do not want to play paintball again for a long time.. =P
Okay to end it all off bout e trip.. i'll get to e highlight of it which was getting to noe my classmates from both my class & sister class better as well as my lecturers and seniors.. And getting to hang out more wif my 2 totally superb roomates and pals Yanah[e mother"] n Ginette[e one wif e recognisable laughter].. Haha.. Wad can i say, they all really added to e fun element of e trip! =) 5 weeks down and 1 more to go before school re-opens!! Well I'm off for Batam in like a few hours! Haf to wake up bright & early at 8 in e morning!! Mixed feelings bout e trip i guess.. but still, real excited to check out e resort and get a massage there! Haha.
Anyway it's Mother's DAy today.. Too bad i won't be able to spend e day wif my mum. =( My sis and I got her 20 long-stemmed roses and Sly's CD [ if u din noe, she's like a SUPER big fan] Haha.. I was so embarrased when buying e CD at HMV k.. dunno y! I quickly took e CD & paid at e counter hoping no one saw wad i was buying.. haha.
Alrite, i'm off to continue packing! Gonna miss my dearies while i'm aaway! =( Must meet up when i'm back k! =P Nitez~
